Dr. Vijay Kumar met the Aam Aadmi Party candidate from Singla Mansa on 11 February 2022, in which he responded to the talk of him joining the RSS. He also expressed his opinion about the performance of Charanjit Singh Channi and Bhagwant Singh Mann. He also appealed to the people to bring political change. On Nazar Singh Manshahia leaving the Aam Aadmi Party, he said that the people did not leave the party, it was the personal decision of Nazar Singh Manshahia to leave the party and not because the people rejected the Aam Aadmi Party.
